Summary

Starting in 2025, I joined the hackathon team as a designer and later transitioned into the role of design project manager, leading creative direction and execution.

Impact

Managed a group of 7 designers with a a cohesive design for a large-scale hackathon, covering visual identity, website UX, and end-to-end experience for 2,000+ participants and 20+ sponsors, including top-tier companies like Google and Capital One

2025 Hackathon Design Blueprint

HackNYU 2025’s design language is modular, scalable, and expressive  a visual echo of how hackers collaborate: fast, flexible, and always building on what came before.

Our lead designer Ana drew inspiration from a forward-thinking vision, focusing on minimalism, inclusivity, and the expressive use of core colors and icons. Thus, our marches and website is designed around that theme.
